Star ratings on vacation rental sites are nominally 0–5, but in practice almost every listing sits between 4.5 and 5.0. A 4.7 sounds great, yet next to a 5.0 it's a noticeably weaker listing. Gimme the Truth is a Safari extension that rescales those ratings to a 0–10 scale so the differences are easy to see: • 5.0 becomes 10 • 4.92 becomes 8.4 • 4.75 becomes 5 • 4.5 becomes 0 • Anything below 4.5 shows as −1 The original rating always stays in brackets, for example "8.4 (4.92)", so you can still see the number the site showed. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens on your device, inside the page you're viewing. No accounts, no analytics, no network requests, and nothing is collected or shared. HOW TO USE Turn the extension on in Safari's settings, then allow it on the sites you want. It does nothing anywhere else. Works on Airbnb websites. Gimme the Truth is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Airbnb, Inc. Airbnb is a trademark of Airbnb, Inc. The rescaled numbers come from a simple formula applied to the rating shown on the page. They are not an official or independent rating.
